Men of Colworth,
The Sharnbrook & Colworth RUFC 2009 Tour is up
and running and what a tour it promises to be!
On Saturday 2nd May we will
travel to Blackpool where we will be playing the famous Fylde RUFC (dont worry its there fifth team!) and spending
two nights taking in the many 'sights' of Blackpool (basic itinerary below)!
There
were a multitide of options for tour this year but we felt it was important to make the tour as affordable as possible for
all and to do that needed to stay on home soil. We believe that the total cost for this tour will be £125.00 per person
(certainly no more than £150.00) which includes return transport, 2 x nights accomodation and quality tour shirt (not pink).
Final cost details will be released asap.
To secure your spot you only have to
pay a deposit of £60.00. This will be on a first come first served basis as there is initially accomodation for 20
people (though we may be able to find extra accomodation if there are more than 20). Please pay your deposit either in cash
or a cheque payable to 'Sharnbrook & Colworth RUFC'. You can give your deposit to either myself, Doris, Dr Steve or
Adrian.
So, please get your place booked early especially as the tour promises
to top off a record breaking season for the club!!
S&C RUFC 2009 TOUR ITINERARY
Saturday 2nd May
8:30am - Coach leaves for Blackpool
10am - Stop for Full English Breakfast
2pm - Check into hotel
3pm - Play v Fylde Vandals
5 to 9pm - Post
Match Festivities
9pm - Venture onto the Blackpool strip
Sunday 3rd May
Beach Touch Rugby Match followed by a quick swim in the sea (massive
fines for those who dont!) followed by all day drinking.
Monday 4th May (Bank Holiday)
10am - Coach leaves for home
