The club plays Social Rugby. Our aim is to provide a good standard of rugby for the local community. We were formerly known as Colworth House, but had to enlarge our dwindling player base. We were made welcome by the Sharnbrook Playing Fields Association, but still maintain our links with Unilever R&D Colworth. SCRUFC is always on the look out for new players, young and old, to take the club forward.

We run a successful occasional Vets side and have a full weekly fixture list for the club XV.

We re enterred the league system in 2005 (East Midlands 6) and in 2006/07 season won that league and gained promotion to league 5A where we finished 3rd in 2007/08. In 2008/09 the club won this league undefeated and were Bedfordshire Cup Finalists. This coming season we will be playing in the Courage Best League (East Midlands 4).
